A nightly archive of the CL Cookbook is already available off 
of the main CL Cookbook page: http://cl-
cookbook.sourceforge.net/

Click on the link that says "nightly CVS tarball":
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cvstarballs/cl-cookbook-
cvsroot.tar.gz

If you are on MS Windows, WinZip can be used to unpack 
the archive.
