Hmm, I'm now getting 

     cvs [login aborted]: connect to
     cvs.cl-cookbook.sourceforge.net:2401 failed: Attempt to connect
     timed out without establishing a connection 

no matter what I try. 

Not my day.

   Hey Nick!

   Yes, you still have full write access, I haven't changed anything. I
   suspect that you checked out your files as an anonymous user and not
   with your correct user ID. At least this is what happened to me once.

   Let me know if this is the reason.
