I just tried exactly these steps and it worked fine. I get the '?' as a
prompt and can enter lisp forms. Unfortunately ':C1' and the like don't
work from the Corman Lisp debugger and :QUIT doesn't exit the REPL. I'm
not sure why that is though. They work fine from outside of emacs.
