I've used to to get the Chicken Scheme compiler to talk to some external 
libraries. It's quite good. There's the beginnings of Common Lisp support in 
the latest SWIG too. It outputs s-expressions from that can then be 
transformed into your native FFI. I think there is even an example that 
transforms these to UFFI definitions.
