Two more things to try. What happens if you call SDL_AddTimer with the
following:

(setf a-timer-1 (SDL_AddTimer 
        500 
        (ct:get-callback-procinst 'my-timer-func-1)
        (ct:int-to-foreign-ptr 0)))

Second, what calling convention does the timer callback have to be in?
Pascal, C, something else? What calling convention does the Corman Lisp
define callback use? Thinking about it, if these are different then it
would show up on functions with more than one argument perhaps?
