Thanks even more for your answer!

I know it's from the stone ages of graphical toolkit history (last major
changes in, what, 1994?), but it is stable, has a well thought-out
concept with things not found in other toolkits and great documentation
(very impressive, I printed a good part of it). I even like the looks.
:-)

So far, I have only used one aggregate per window. If I understand you
correctly, I should create a sub-aggregate where I put the scrollbar and
the aggrelist in.

Not yet, but I hope they will come. Maybe I should try to post the
question to comp.lang.lisp as well. A few people there mention Garnet
every now and then.

I'll take a look at the URLs on your website as well -- hopefully
there's some source code somewhere to allow me a look at how others
wrote their GUIs.

Let's hope this post won't start a landslide of unsubscribe requests,
then. I have been on the list for a few months, and mine is the first
post since then, I think.
