I've switched to b66c55853870ce15554bc4d9b911410dd07d8a45

1. readline still failing, inside config.log

In file included from conftest.c:89:

So, I've used my patch to add stdio.h

2. Unfortunately empty `gprof.c` won't work. It fails like this:

ouch raw_pre_gcl_map
ccache /usr/bin/clang -L/opt/local/lib -Wl,-headerpad_max_install_names -Wl,-syslibroot,/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX12.sdk -arch x86_64 -Wl,-no_pie -m64 -Wl,-headerpad,72 -o raw_pre_gcl -L. -lpre_gcl `echo -lm -lgmp -lreadline | sed -e 's/-lncurses/ /'` -lc -lgclp

So, the second patch is back.

3. To have a nice backtrace I must replace install_segmentation_catcher with dummy function, to avoid replacing macOS handler which allows to use standard toolset to get the stack trace.

Build output:

4. 10 minutes isn't more than 2 hours. Something dramatical slow here. The time of building of 2.6.14 hadn't created any issue as far as I recall.

5. about

ERROR "There is no package with the name \"libc\"."

I've attached the whole build output and config.log
