LilyPond is already using Guile 3 since more than a year now (January
2024). Also on Windows, where I developed the base patches that I keep
on pinging since then.

Whether there are more patches needed for LilyPond depends on the
direction taken (see my other message). By changing GMP interfaces,
some problems can be avoided. If we go my proposed way of handling 32-
bit long on 64-bit platforms in Guile only and don't touch GMP, there
are some followup patches needed to address problems with arithmetic
operations (developed by Michael Käppler).
