guile-gnome status?

This is a semi-periodic hopefully not too annoying ping about gnome-guile. It seems the latest release has serious issues with modern gtk2+/etc., and therefore in systems like pkgsrc guile-gnome is essentially unusable. It's not reasonable to expect packaging systems to grab stuff out of git. (That's not about git; it's that the lack of a release is a clue that there is no stable version.) Recently in pkgsrc-land (NetBSD and many others) we've started wondering about how much longer gtk1 support should remain, as it's getting pretty crufty and pretty much everything that's maintained has moved to gtk2+. But, guile-gtk is still out there, and people who value stability over spiffiness may still be using it. So two questions: is anyone still using guile-gtk? is anyone trying to make a guile-gnome release? _______________________________________________ guile-gtk-general mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/guile-gtk-general
