Docstrings and ilisp-all.elc

When ILISP is built with the `loadfile' make target, compiled files are
concatenated to `ilisp-all.elc'. This breaks access to their docstrings
because Emacs relies on the docstrings's positions within those files.
This, in turn, causes commands and functions for accessing docstrings to
return random garbage. Is there an easy fix (other than documenting this
behavior...)?
