Um, what is the behaviour that you want?  (Don't hold your breath
on getting what you want but tell us anyway just for the heck of it :)

This is how ilisp-display-output-adaptively works according to its
documentation string.  Note that lisp-no-popper has no effect with
ilisp-display-output-adaptively; only with
ilisp-display-output-default.

FWIW, what works best at least in X and Win32 IMO is to keep a
listener visible all the time, set lisp-no-popper to t and leave
ilisp-display-output-function alone.

Please refer to the documentation with node/section names, the info
version does not have numbers in sections.

Correct (well, it's ilisp-output-sink, not ilisp-sink).  Perhaps
you would like to cook up a patch to fix the documentation?
