I just completed my installation attempt and am having a problem. I followed the install instructions at http://cl-cookbook.sourceforge.net/windows.html. Everything seems to go well up to the point where I am told in Step#8 to "Start CLISP by pressing "F5"." I get the following error here Starting clisp -ansi -I -q ... ILISP V5.11.1 Use M-x ilisp-bug for problems and suggestions. Bad command or file name^M The mode line at the bottom at this point reads - -1\** *clisp-hs* (ILISP :exit)--L1--C0--All---------------------------------------- If I try to press on from here anyway (ignoring the error) and type the nest step: M-x ilisp-compile-inits I get the error : Wrong type argument: processp, nil I am attaching my .emacs file and clisp.bat file here in case these would be of any help. Thanks. Regards, Jeff Stephens
