Again, this is probably the same problem that you had with clisp - pathnames
with spaces in the path. To fix the problem, try the following (not tested):

1. Move the corman directory to the root directory (e.g. - from "C:\Program
Files\Corman Tools\Corman Lisp 1.5\" to "C:\Corman Lisp 1.5\"
2. Rename the corman directory to something without spaces (e.g. -
"C:\corman\")
3. Change the batch file c:\home\lisp\corman.bat to use the new location:

@echo off
C:\corman\clconsole.exe -image C:\corman\cormanlisp.img

Hope that helps.

Just an update to my last email. I tested Allegro using Step #9 and
everything works fine. No errors at all. Wasn't quite as lucky with Corman
Lisp. Even after moving Corman out of the "Program Files" directory as I
had done with clisp and changing corman.bat to reflect this, I still get the
following error:

    Welcome to the Emacs shell

    c:/HOME $ corman.bat
    ;;Error: Could not open file ~A for reading

I set debugger mode, but this is the only error message produced.

Jeff Stephens
