The first alpha release of LISA 2.0 is now available. Version 2.0a1 represents a significant departure from 1.x. At its core is a ground-up rewrite of LISA's Rete algorithm, making extensive use of closures and function objects. Also included is a new single-pass rule parser. Both of these enhancements dramatically reduce the size of the LISA code base, providing enhanced readability, simplicity and improved application performance. The LISA home page has a link to the release notes, which may also be found in the distribution. Cheers, -- ------------------------------------------ David E.
