You can see that in the task manager, admittedly, they could have made it more prominent.

Haven’t tested it, and not 100% convinced it could be disabled like that, but might worth a shot trying.

Btw, macos also has this memory compression feature, although I haven’t noticed it slowing things down, might be it is not as aggressive as on windows, or I haven’t had workloads that could be affected by it.
