Re: Just take me out back and shoot me...

I did go a few rounds the other day with the Google AI engine on its web search page. I asked what was the mechanism of “Dynamic Phase” in FabFilters Equalizer plugins. That is their “proprietary” magic stuff that is a hybrid between FIR and IIR filtering. 

But what do they mean by “hybrid”. Google almost immediately tried to snow me with fancy language about digital signal processing, and mentioned algorithms out of left field - like any BS Artist would try doing. 

But since I know a ton about this field, I kept pressing for more detailed information. All I could ever get was BS trying to scare me away from asking any deeper questions. I find that offensive behavior in a computer that is supposed to be doing work on my behalf.
