Re: Selecting a portion of text in editor pane

The Editor just doesn't behave as I would expect if used this way. For example, suppose I want to move the cursor by one character:

(setf editor (capi:contain (make-instance 'capi:editor-pane :text "Text")))

(capi:apply-in-pane-process 
 editor
 (lambda ()
   (editor:use-buffer (capi:editor-pane-buffer editor)
     (editor:forward-character-command 1))))

After this, the cursor does not move and stays at the beginning of the text. What should I do to make this example work?
