It is hard to verbalise it beyond level 1 but the levels could be: 1. Knowledge: answer to the question “what”, as in “what happened”, “where it took place” and “what it is”. 2. Understanding: answer to the question “how”, meaning “how do all these facts/knowledge come together/connected”. 3. Wisdom: answer to the question “why”. (???) Wisdom may be something that explains why something happens, like “why the universe exists”, or “why knowledge, understanding and wisdom are necessary as the three layers of cognition” etc. Can machines operate on this level? I do not know, but it looks like humans might still have a long way to go before we can get comfortable on it. Is that the level we are supposed to develop towards and is this the entire purpose of human evolution? I guess we will be able to tell once we get there but it seems like there is an answer after all.
