Indeed, interfacing QT or GTK+ to Lush should be fairly straightforward and would be useful to a lot of people. Also, as Leon suggests, expanding the low-level graphic drivers of Lush by using one of the emerging X extensions and new imaging models (particularly the ones that can handle transparency and alpha-blending) would be very useful. I'm not sure Enlightenment is the winning horse at the moment, but I haven't followed this closely. One imaging systems that seems to be gathering steam is Cairo, which has a device-independent 2D imaging model with vector graphics and all. Another avenue is to just go with OpenGL. -- Yann On Friday 05 August 2005 01:25 pm, Ralf Juengling wrote: > On Thu, 4 Aug 2005, Raymond Martin wrote: > > On another note: what do you think about incorporating other > > canvas/widget toolkits between X and Ogre? > > Or, how about incorporating a foreign widget toolkit as an alternative to > Ogre?
