I think you are forgetting some of the premises behind Lush of having multiple capabilities under one programming roof, so to speak. The GUI under Lush, as you can read in the documentation, is intended more for the rapid application development aspects it can bring to everyones benefit. Lower-level C stuff can be kept at arms length by this. There is no overwhelming reason to bother making an interface to an external C/C++ GUI toolkit when you already have Ogre and the full glory of using Lisp to interact with a GUI at runtime. If there is a need for a GUI builder, then I for one think it should be made with Ogre. This is right in line with the basic idea of Lisp as being a programmable programming language. As things would proceed Ogre itself would evolve as the needs arise. Again this is in line with the Lisp philosophy of programming--bottom-up programming. As far as I can see Ogre is a great piece of work. Just try finding another free or simple GUI toolkit with Lisp under the hood--hard to find, too complicated, $. Yes, it needs some updating, that's a given. No reason to put it on the side for another toolkit though. Raymond __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam?
