Lush 2, priorities for a first release

Hello everyone,

It is time to start thinking about the next Lush release.
I would like to get a first Lush 2 release out this summer,
hopefully June or July. There are many things I would like to
add to Lush but not all of them will make it into this first
release.

Since with this release we allow ourselves to break
compatibility with Lush 1.x, my priority for this first
Lush 2.x release is to make as many of those changes that
require breaking backwards compatibility as possible.

Lots of incompatibilities between 1.x and svn already exist,
since we used the last version of PSU Lush as the starting point
for the new code base. These are mostly changes in function
names, removal of some Lush 1.x functions, introduction of NAN
and INF as legal number literals, the requirement to use
'declare' for type annotations, and probably a few other things
I don't remember right now.

Now, what other changes do we want to make that require breaking
compatibility? The two biggest items on my wish list are:
1. Making Lush case sensitive
2. Introducing more powerful array indexing and sharing the
    syntax currently used for array literals with other uses
    like array construction ("array comprehensions", see also [1])

I worked off the first point over the last few weeks (see svn,
some lush code mights still need updating, though).

The second point we should start talking about now. I remember
that Yann said he'd like to revise array indexing, too. I have no
concrete ideas yet besides what I implemented already [2]. But I
am not attached to these particular indexing modes and would have
no qualms replacing them with something more powerful--if we can
come up with something.

Are there any other backwards incompatibly changes we want to
make?
