Hi all,
In preparing for a lush2 release I want to go
through all the packages and make sure they work,
at least on linux. I know that most won't work right
now because there have been lots of changes in the
language. But which ones need updating and which
ones do we want to get rid of because they are
obsolete?
Below is the current list of package directories and
a little note from me next to it:
"ok" means works on linux afaik,
"dump" means I think it's not worth keeping,
"upd" means it needs updating, and
"?" means probably does not work and I am not sure
what to do with it.
alsa ?
audio ok
audiofile ?
blas ok (*)
cblas dump
devices ?
ffmpeg upd
fftw upd
gblearn2 ?
gblearning ?
gnuplot ok
gsl ?
inventor upd
jpeg upd
lapack ok (*)
libnum ok
libsvm upd
mpi ?
music ?
opencv dump
opencv2 ok
opengl upd
optim ok
sdl upd
sdlgames upd
sn28 upd
svm upd
torch dump
video upd
video4linux upd
(*) These are not the same packages as in lush1, I
started rewriting those.
Yann, please fill in the ?s and let me know if you
want to change anything else. I removed the HTK package
a while ago as it looks like that software is now
closed source and must be purchased.
Ralf
PS: We should set up a wiki to keep track of these
things...
