Problem with Ubuntu 9.10  karmic 64 bit AMD, gcc 4.4.1 , gsl 1.12,
gnuplot 4.2 pl 5.

lunar lander, calculator working.  
gnuplot is not, gsl is not. 
optimizer seems to be working, no overflow.
gnuplot seems to be just hanging. I had to hit ctrl c.
