Problems compiling latest CVS version

I downloaded matlisp from CVS today.
I configured with

./configure --with-lisp=cmucl --with-lisp-exec=/home/rif/Software/CMUCL/bin/lisp --prefix=`pwd`

and then tried a make, but I get the following error when CMUCL tries
to load matrix.x86f:

Error in function PCL::FIND-CLASS-FROM-CELL:  No class named: REAL.
