Hello, Ray and other matlisp users.

The problem was that I was using gcc-2.95.4 (which is said to be
broken).  I thought that I had done the upgrade to gcc-3.0 already,
but it seems that the links were not updated automatically.

When I changed the links in /usr/bin to gcc-3.0.3, everything worked
fine.
