I would not call this a release but we have been playing with CCL and
Cocoa for a while to explore how to port our XMLisp/MCL based 2D and
3D interface to CCL. The code is really just a feasibility study to
see how much code is needed to create a portable Lisp User Interface
kit that works well on the Mac.

If you could have a look at the examples.lisp file (which
automatically opens) and eval some of the sample user interfaces. Let
me know if you get this to work, or why not. Suggestions for
extensions are welcome. If you even make it to the point, where you
add new controls that would be super exciting. Especially if you
manage to get this to work on CCL windows, or at least have a good
story on how to tackle that, we may have a job for you. So far
Cocotron sound like the best bet but Gary may need some additional
motivation to explore this further.

So far we conclude that LUI works quite well on CCL Mac Cocoa but the
windows version is the real challenge.

and edit the logical pathname expression in here at the top of the
file to point to your folder:

all the best, Alex
