What about *showing* instead of telling? ... I have enclosed my Modern-MCL collection of patches to the MCL IDE, which contributes to give it a more contemporary look & feel. I have also added my implementation of a Package Indicator for Fred, which displays the current LISP package in a placard instead of as text in the minibuffer.
