Gray Streams on MCL?

Hi, MCL users

I wonder, is there any gray streams compatibility layer package? My purpose is to be able to use trivial-gray-streams [1] on MCL/RMCL, but I don't know how to make it works.

Although RMCL ships with all streams source code (lib/streams.lisp), it's still too complicated to make a patch to let it gray-compatible.

Having gray streams useable on MCL will bring a lots of modern CL packages onto RMCL, one major example is Hunchentoot.

Help some help ...
