Transfer peculiarities

I transferred MCL code from one machine to another under SL via USB memory stick. On arrival AFAICS all files have a ._ accompanying hidden file (even TIFF files, and the .DS_Store has a ._.DS_Store companion. I assume that in transit the resource fork part was split off.
