ANNC: MCLIDE 1.0b3 for Clojure and other Lisps

It has been quiet on the MCL list lately, so it's time for some noise...

A few rhetorical questions: 

Would you like to use a modernized version of the MCL IDE to develop on one or more lisp implementations whether they run on Mac, Windows or other operating systems? 

What about leveraging your familiarity with MCL to use other lisps without having to learn new development environments?

I hope you say "of course" or something equivalent!

MCLIDE 1.0b3 is released today. As you probably know, it is a free open source Macintosh IDE for Lisp implementations on any platform, based on the mature IDE of Macintosh Common Lisp:

The biggest news for the latest version of MCLIDE is support for Clojure, the new lisp dialect on the JVM. Now you can leap ahead with this exciting lisp dialect using a development environment you already know.

Clojure 1.2 was released earlier today. MCLIDE 1.0b3 makes it really easy to get going: Just download Clojure from <clojure.org>, start MCLIDE, and navigate to the Clojure jar  file in the startup dialog. You'll be up running in minutes (or less). MCLIDE will provide a modernized MCL listener to evaluate Clojure forms. Like in MCL, you can also evaluate lisp from the editor.
