I think development would speed up once you could develop within the
system.

I am still working on the networking ideas that I had when attempting
to mentor a Google Summer of Code project last summer. I ran up
against a gap in the Simple Streams implementation and wasn't sure
what was needed to get any changes to cross compile correctly. I can
put a snapshot somewhere if anyone wants to look at it.

The other area I have been looking at is to be able to wrap an ELF
header around the image.
