I just took this new job and they were running Hummingbird NFS on NT to share files with some Linux boxes. What I loved most about hummingbird was the way it would make one machine lock up and the other blue screen on boot. Switched to the oss lisp one and wow. Faster, much more stable. Yeah, sometimes I get failed operations (we do quite a bit of traffic) but the jobs run again later and pick up where the left off. Allegro NFS has given me one less migraine. I get lots of "XXXX bytes tenured, next gc will be global" in my nfs console. Is that good/bad?
