 That's a pretty horrible bug for IE to have.  An early version of 
Mozilla contained this bug but it was fixed when it was pointed out.

 IE versions 5.01 (win2k), 5.50 (win98) and 6.0 (Win XP) do *not* have 
this bug.   IE's that have this bug must be very very old.
