Question about NFS

Hi all,

I am in the process of trying to get Allegro NFSd to work to replace
Microsoft's Services for Unix, which runs okay on Win2000, but I can't
get it to work with XP. My problem is that the device that is mounting
the NFS drive is a VxWorks-based system, and it seems to be very picky
about working-basically, I am admitting that Allegro may work fine and
VxWorks may not, but I am looking for suggestions regardless.

The problem is that when VxWorks starts up it does something along the
lines of a showmount -e on the PC running NFS, but it doesn't seem to be
getting any info back. When I run the command on a linux box I do see a
different behavior between Allegro and SFU, and I am wondering if there
is anyway that I can make Allegro conform without getting into the
source code?

When I run showmount -e PCwithSFU I get:

/CLIPR (everyone) <---- Services for UNIX result

When I run showmount -e PCwithAllegro I get:

/CLIPR * <---- Allegro NFSd result

I am guessing this difference is causing the problem...any ideas?

Thanks in advance for whatever help you can provide...other than this,
Allegro seems much easier to use than SFU.
