        Thank you for your reply

I will cvs right now and test it again
Concerning the parse-ffi, this is the output:

    ? (require "PARSE-FFI")

    "PARSE-FFI"
    ? (parse-standard-ffi-files :gtk)

     > Error: Undefined function PARSE-STANDARD-FFI-FILES called with
    arguments (:GTK) .

     > If continued: Retry applying PARSE-STANDARD-FFI-FILES to (:GTK).
    Type :? for other options.

Sorry; the GTK examples haven't been updated in a long time (since
    before
OpenMCL started treating case as significant in foreign
    function/type names.
    (0.11 ?)

They're fixed in CVS now and seem to otherwise work (at least under
    Debian unstable ).

I've heard that the GTK-STEP example has difficulty displaying text on
some versions of YDL; I'm not sure why.
