I've corresponded with Tim McNerney who appears willing to lead a porting
effort (involving himself and others) given sufficient funds.

Through CLF (Common Lisp Foundation) I am working on a fundraising
platform.  There is some discussion of CLF merging with ALU (a U.S.
501(c)3) and pursuing the possibility of some seed funding from ALU legacy
funds.

If any other parallel efforts are afoot please let me know so we can try to
coordinate.
