"Define Site" on UX400?

I'm trying to get Genera 8.3 going on my UX400; thus far I've gotten through the fun of getting everything running on the UNIX side and I have the default Genera world loading up. After running "Define Site," the X display shuts itself down -- the documentation (in the "Define Site Dialogue for a Symbolics UX" topic) states says this is normal. According to the documentation the X display is supposed to come back automatically after this happens -- the problem I'm having is that it doesn't. Lisp is still running, but there's no display. If I halt the UX with "halt-ivory" from UNIX then I can get back into the Cold-Load display; running "continue" from the CL-Display starts Lisp running again, but still with no display; however at that point the UNIX console starts spitting out "ux400: Connection refused -- retrying..." every 10 seconds or so. (ux400 is the name of the UX on the UNIX side of things). Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Josh
