Folks -- I am involved in yet another attempt at a Sybolics keyboard adaptor -- YASKA? ya4ska? -- and the project is in need of some info. 1. Pinouts. Bolics kbd uses a 6pin connector, but I am told that most old kbds only used 4 wires. For example: 1- Power 2- Data 3- Clock 4- VCC The actual pinouts for the Bolics would be useful. Are the other two wires used, and if so, for what? 2. Scancodes. I assume that on-board processing in the kbd converts key presses/releases into codes which are sent to the kbd driver. Would be handy to have a table of the resultant codes from each press/release for all keys. tnx, -f PS If success for this latest adaptor project, slug list will be first to know.
