Hi,

Thanks for the rc1 fixes! Here are my 5.4-rc2 results:

HW: MacBook Air M2 (arm64)
OS: macos Montery 12.7.5
CC: clang 14.0.0 & gcc 14.1.0

Installation works?: yes
Tests work?: yes
Installation and tests of "pastiche" egg works?: yes
Installation and tests of "matrico" egg works?: yes
Installation of "arcadedb" egg works?: yes

I built with:

make PREFIX=/tmp/chicken PLATFORM=macosx C_COMPILER=gcc install check
