Two quick examinations for bitlongness, 1) i386 debootstrap Debian 8 Jessie
(also Mint17/Ubuntu14)
-  fails when executed  'sh scripts/bootstrap.sh'  step :

i think the origin of problem is in file
chicken-core/boot/chicken-6.0.0/chicken.h
