csm build system not behaving correctly with CHICKEN 6 and R7RS

I don't know if the mailing list is the right place for egg issues, so sorry if this doesn't belong here.
I have chicken-6.0.0pre2 installed from the dev snapshot, alongside chicken 5.4 from a distribution package. I have a simple R7RS project:

;;The issue is csm passes "-X r7rs -R r7rs" to the csc compiler driver, and chicken 6 does not appear to recognise those options as R7RS support is now integrated into the system.
