Hi, thanks for offering your help in this regard. - I just opened an
issue at ayatoy's repo: https://github.com/ayatoy/Gauche-mongo/issues/1

I would suggest: maybe wait a few days - if he (she?) reacts, and then
(if not) your help (a PR of yours) would be very much appreciated.
