Hi! I'll quit my hacking session on Guile-FFI for today :>. I just managed to make eceval compile and even run; it seems to work -- I've done no real testing however. A nice anecdote: When running eceval in valgrind (which slows execution down by a factor > 20), the Guile initialization time is nicely (;-) noticable on my Athlon 900, while when eceval is running on top of Pika, there is almost no delay before you get the prompt. Over the next few days, I'll sort the stuff that is usable for Pika directly (i.e. the fix for the fixnum/word hashing bug) out of my changes and provide all code in my archive. I'm also contemplating over if/when I should announce this to guile-user... :-) Andy -- Andreas Rottmann | [email protected] | 118634484@ICQ | [email protected] http://yi.org/rotty | GnuPG Key: http://yi.org/rotty/gpg.asc Fingerprint | DFB4 4EB4 78A4 5EEE 6219 F228 F92F CFC5 01FD 5B62 Say NO to Software Patents! -- http://petition.eurolinux.org/
