I'm interested in principle, but I'm not sure I'll be able to *do* much. I got tired of dealing with db access problems and punted by starting to use SISC, so that I can use JDBC, not to mention more sophisticated persistence libraries. I don't have much desire to implement, or debug, a database access layer myself.
