How would one know this? Perhaps all the non-anonymous venues where you
encounter Scheme people alienate those who want more anonymity. :)
(More seriously, though off-topic: The only reason I don't hang out on
#scheme is that I'm averse to the logging bots there. One can't have a
casual conversation or make an offhand remark that's not instantly
logged, archived, indexed, and published on the Web. IRC banter is not
of overriding historical significance to justify the intrusiveness.)
On-topic, I'm all for an anonymous option on Wikis, so long as they do
versioning and it's easy to roll back sabotage. Lowers the effort
barrier to making contributions.
