RE: Cookbook -- approaching fixpoint?

I've added some topics related to StringRecipes which are all purely for
testing at this stage, and can be ignored.  I'll clean them up when I'm
done.

I wrote:

I'm finding that the goal of laying out the topics so that they'll work for
both convenient online navigation and viewing, as well as for sensibly
generating a printed book, is difficult to achieve with standard Twiki
features.

I don't think that's a big problem, though.  There are various alternatives.
First, we're not the first to try this:

That one alone might solve the problems I've come across, which mainly have
to do with restrictions in getting tables of contents to work correctly
across multiple nesting levels (I can provide the gory details if anyone
cares).

I haven't explored any of this in detail yet.

Some of the above should let us do what we need, but at worst, we can always
do some of our own processing to tie all the content together for printing
purposes.  There's enough markup in the pages that some scripts to do this
shouldn't be difficult.

I'll investigate this over the next couple of days.  It's possible that
simply installing the TocPlugin will do the trick, so I'll see if I can do
that "tomorrow" (later on Wednesday).
