I'm agreed :-)  I had a look at blueDonkey they don't
seem to have done anything special to address the
problems we have.  It also appears there is one main
author for their books so they don't have the
coordination problems we face.

The Motorola extensions seem like a good thing, though
I'm a bit worried about it becoming too difficult for
newbies to contribute.  I suspect it will actually
seem a lot simpler for those who haven't gone through
the various different conventions that we have.
