"Serviceable"?  I recommend against attempting servicing on grad students,
unless it's of a relatively minor nature, such as treating the minor cuts,
burns and abrasions that commonly result from e.g. lab work.  More complex
procedures are ill-advised: for example, access to their central processor
tends to require drilling or sawing, not to mention a very steady hand.  Any
mistakes tend to significantly compromise their processing capacity!
