The PLT package repository

For anyone building packages, it is worth knowing about the
existence of Planet:

  http://planet.plt-scheme.org/

It is the PLT package repository, akin to Debian's
repository for those who are familiar with it. It will be
part of the 208 release coming out imminently and is
another target we should release code to.

As an aside, a make tool for Scheme would be really nice.
A could of things I could use automation for include:

  - stripping test cases from releases
  - building distros (now we have two targets)
  - handling portable code

The good folks at LShift started on a system called Sake
(Scheme Make) based on Schelog. They had problems w/
Schelog so perhaps a Kanren system would be more feasible.
I'll drop 'em a line...

Noel
