RE: New code / the Cookbook / WordUp (in your hood)!

An update on the server move: I'll be out at a client today, but I'm
planning to initiate the DNS switch sometime on Friday, after which it'll
take 24 hours for the domain change to take full effect (that seems to be a
limitation of the joker.com domain service).

I had some configuration problems with moving to Apache 2.0 (the current
server runs 1.3).  One of the things I wanted to support are shorter URLs,
so that we can use URLs like e.g.
http://schemewiki.org/Cookbook/StringReverse .  This works on the current
server, to an extent, but I had wanted to make it work better (so that those
URLs become the canonical ones).  Apache's mod_rewrite, for rewriting URLs,
always gives me trouble, and it's much easier to debug these things while
people aren't using the server live.

BTW, I think there may be some other things we should discuss before any
full-scale public announcement - I'll post more about that later.
